Aims and objectives:The purpose of the research unit is to study narrative processes as a tool to understand memory, personal and professional identity, change with regard to autobiographical memory, reflexivity, and the processing of painful personal experiences.
Current projects:
- autobiographical storytelling and personal reflexivity in oncology;
- relationships between narrator and listener and autobiographical narration in oncology;
- emotional connotation of experiences and autobiographical narration in educational and care professions;
- body modifications and the process of constructing and narrating the self.
