Annamaria Di Fabio among the Top Italian Women Scientists 2025
The Department of Education, Languages, Interculture, Literatures and Psychology expresses great satisfaction and pride for the prestigious recognition obtained by Professor Annamaria Di Fabio, included among the Top Italian Women Scientists (TIWS) 2025.
The title, awarded to Italian female scholars who stand out for the excellence of their scientific production and the high number of citations in the biomedical and life sciences fields, rewards the commitment, perseverance and international impact of the research conducted by Professor Di Fabio, who has been a point of reference in the field of positive psychology, prevention and promotion of well-being for years. The recognition, promoted by the Onda Foundation - National Observatory on Women's Health and Gender ETS, was awarded this year to 12 female scientists from the University of Florence, gathered in the prestigious club of 113 Italian female excellences in the field of biomedical research.
The Department enthusiastically celebrates this important milestone, which testifies not only to the scientific value, but also to the cultural and ethical commitment of Prof. Di Fabio in promoting a science that is attentive to people, psychological health and the human dimension of academic knowledge.
