University of Florence for Europe – Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence
Since 1995, the European Commission has contributed to the financing of a number of initiatives undertaken by the University of Florence to promote European integration. In 1999, the University of Florence was recognized as a “Jean Monnet European Center of Excellence” with the aim of coordinating, in collaboration with other universities, all activities related to European integration and disseminating information on these activities in order to promote their development and increase their effectiveness.
