MISSION
LabOA operates according to structured editorial workflows, based on digital platforms for content publishing, archiving and dissemination, and integrates editorial, computing and scientific communication expertise.
Activities include the production of volumes, journals, working papers, multimedia content and public engagement outputs, in coordination with Firenze University Press and with University policies on Open Science, research communication and dissemination, Third Mission and the enhancement of scientific production.
The adoption of Creative Commons licences is closely connected to the research that LabOA dedicates to linking linguistic and literary studies with computing and multilingual, multimedia open access online publishing, ensuring the progressive integration of area studies with the Digital Humanities.
