Educative and Formative Studies Section
The Section aims to support, promote, disseminate and increase evidence-based historical and theoretical interpretative research, oriented to social problems, and, in this sense, of an applied and transformative nature. It is also capable of combining a pedagogical perspective with educational sciences and technic/technological knowledge, while remaining attentive to the advancement and innovation of knowledge in an interdisciplinary key. By giving attention to evaluation of the effectiveness of educational action at all levels (formal, informal and non-formal), the aim is to create conditions to ensure impact and change in different contexts, and to critically evaluate quality and conditions of implementation in view of a full promotion and care of individuals, in every place and form of life.
